(Drumroll, please.)

I shall now answer a question this blog was set up to keep you from having to ask. “Yes, she is sleeping through the night. For now.”

Oh, for the… Come on!

It’s official. The best way to get poo to sqush out of Linnaea’s diaper on all sides is to get her all strapped into her carseat and take her somewhere.

Dizzy

Ceiling fans seem to be the thing today.

Freed by Grace

Linnaea was baptized on Sunday, August 21. By coincidence, Paul was lector, which was really nice. Our daughter was wonderful during the sacrament–the rest of worship, too. I think the congregation enjoyed watching her as she looked up at Paul from the font.

It’s hard to describe the way I felt. Joy and relief come to mind, but I think the strongest emotion was born of the responsibility that lies ahead for me, both as her mother and as her teacher, to raise her in the faith, and the great challenge that presents. Thankfully, I am not, nor will I be alone.

Bubblesplat?

Currently, bubblesplat is what happens after little baby mouthbubbles turn into drool. Someday, it will be sticky, soapy residue all over everything. Now you know.
